I love Julia Donaldson's books and the Gruffalo is a particular favourite so I was so excited when I was asked to make a 3D Gruffalo cake for a little boys birthday.
Its chocolate mudcake with chocolate buttercream inside, covered in chocolate sugarpaste.

Purple Bow Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was made to compliment the bride and grooms purple and ivory colour scheme. Inside is chocolate mudcake with chocolate buttercream, covered with an ivory sugarpaste with a hint of sparkle. Purple and ivory sugarpaste ribbons and bows, with diamante brooches complete this classic wedding cake. This was delivered on a beautiful day last summer to Nailcote Hall in Warwickshire.

Harry Potter birthday cake

I have got very behind with my blog and have not posted any of my recent cake pictures .... so I've made a resolution to catch up! So firstly, here is a cake I made for a Harry Potter fan for his 7th birthday. The cake is complete with Harry Potter's wand and glasses, Hogwarts scarf, the sorting hat, golden snitch and Dobby the house elf.
